Pente
▶︎ 118
It's all about placing stones and capturing pairs in this classic connect 5 board game.
What is Pente?
Pente is all about outsmarting your opponent with strategy and a keen eye. You take turns placing stones on the board, trying to line up five of your own in a row. It sounds simple, but there's a twist: you can also capture your opponent's stones by flanking them with a pair of your own.
The game keeps you thinking on your feet, as each move could set up your victory or open a chance for your opponent. Winning comes from either getting those five stones in a row or capturing five pairs of your opponent's stones. It's a mix of planning ahead and adapting to your opponent's strategy.
